A couple of weeks ago, I rewatched a certain anime series (guess which one) from my childhood and began modelling.
Here's Metabee!
I modelled the metal beetle himself in Maya, gave him textures and a rig. There are a few flaws I discovered when making him pose, but I intend to fix those. Using the experience I got from the last school quarter last year, I build up Metabee from seperate meshes, allowing me to easily replace parts and improve them, without losing the entire rig-paint that I would have to redo if it were one mesh.
I got a cool idea for an animation, but... It takes 2 to Robattle.
I'm not going to spoil who will be his opponent yet. But here's an personal, yet unhelpful hint: If I could pick any medabot to have, it would be the one I'm modelling now.
